Pupil Voice
At The Hollybrook Schools, we value the difference our pupils can make to our schools. We have a wide range of ways that pupils contribute to both the Infant and the Junior Schools. We run a School Council and a Learning Council across the two schools. We also run our own reporters club in the Junior school; here the children report on any stories they feel they would like to share.
We have Peer Mediators who support other pupils in the playground in the Junior school who spend some of their time helping to sort out lunchtime issues. We have Advocates across the two schools who work on behaviour and policy across the schools, trying to find ways to make our schools better for everyone. And we have a range of jobs that the children can do across the two schools - Passport Control to support teachers keep track of reading records, library monitors to help keep the library tidy and many more.
